Ah I see, I didn't know that. I'm not sure of my heritage tbh. But when I had my scan they didn't mention her being big but she looks like she has long legs in the picture.. My son was long when born, they thought (cause I carry quite small) that he would be 7lb 4oz looking at the size of me.. Very wrong 🙈😂 I can't compare with my mums babies weights cause she smoked during pregnancy whereas I gave up both times and obviously that can affect weights.. Maybe I was just meant to have big babies.. Nice big and strong babies 😂 xx @winterbaby95

@emmajo Well when I went for my growth scan my girl was measuring big :) I was 35+6 and my girl was measuring over 39weeks for legs..etc :) My sonographer didn't even measure Maya yet..as soon as she came on the screen..she said what a big baby..and even asked if I had the GTT (which I hadn't) :) At 35+6 Maya was 7lbs 9oz :) She was estimated to be around 9/10bs by my due date/if I went over :) Anyway she said..Genetically Irish, scottish and whelsh babies tend to be big :) I get the Irish from my mum.and scottish from my dad :) My mum has had babies all above 8lbs 2oz's :) her biggest being 10lbs 9oz's :) she didn't have diabetes or anything like that :) Maya was 8lbs 4oz's 6 days early :) Xx
