anyone of your newborn babies had jandice??if so how bad is that??thank u for the comments!!
@jacey3, ok thank you for the info.i will be going to the pedi tomorrow.
My babies wasn't so bad . Went to the doctors today and she said he still has a little on his face so to let him get some sunlight. We're in the shade but still outside where it's nice and breezy
my first born did because he wasn't latching correctly to feed and I wasn't aware because I was a first time mom. fortunately we were in the hospital when the nurses caught it. he was under the lights for 4 days before his pediatrician gave the OK to come home. although he wouldn't latch, I would pump milk and see him in the NICU every 2 hours to feed. once we got home his pediatrician and nurses suggested placing him under windows where the sun hit the most, but for about 10-15 mins. hope it helps.
My daughter had it. Stayed in the hospital for 4 days because of it. But nothing serious. Just have to place your baby by a window. The best way to get rid of it is by feeding your baby until they poo and pee it out. That's what the doctors told me.
no just sunlight like by a window or something will help. no stress needed. @nanz13
@nanz13, my pedi kept assuring me it's totally normal and usually clears up in a few days. Preemie babies get it more. They will tell you if it is something more than regular newborn jaundice
@emeliaday, @babyrossmommy @sidanddelos15 so i dont need to stress right?nothing too serious?thank u guys alot!
My son did - he was born at 36 weeks. We were on a bili blanket for a week.
@suez, thats good to know.pedi did told me to let the sunlight hit her skin.thank you for sharing.
