Okay, so I babysit my friend's three sons along with having my newborn baby boy with me. the middle child is potty trained, but he has taken it upon himself to start peeing in the floor. I don't know what to do anymore. Talking to him does not work. Time out does not work. Taking things away does not work. I don't know what to do. When you ask him why he did it he just cries and says "because I don't want to." That's the only answer.

@ericam, I could see that. I have wondered the same thing, but he has.started doing it even when I am not there or when his mom is there too. Like yesterday, his mom gave him a bath and when she was grabbing his clothes be ran into the hallway and peed.

@amaperalta03, I don't know if it is regression... I mean he consciously pulls his underwear down and pees on the floor, so you know he knows he has to pee... if you ask where he is supposed to go he will say "in the bathroom."

Kids tend to do this because of the lack of attention since there is a new born in the house try to talk to him calmly, this worked with my sister and her potty trained child

My nephew use to do that. You should mention early intervention so he can get evaluated regression is never a good sign.
