Pumping moms, when you pumped every 2-3 hours religiously when did you notice a milk increase?

I've tried the pumping more often to increase my milk but it didn't work. I actually noticed when I waited to pump 4-5 hours I got soooo much more. when I pumped every 2 hours I only squeezed out about 2 oz from both. but when I waited I pumped out almost 7-8 oz. idk its weird Lol

I noticed that too!! When I would wake up from sleeping and it's been 5-6 hours I would pump out 5 to 6 oz! It's weird but if I wait to long to pump my son will drink all the milk and he won't have anything to eat when he gets up again...i don't know what to do @ameliask

oh yeah I still have that problem that's why I bought the supplemental breast milk formula to make a bottle for him when I'm running low. so he drinks that while I stock up again on breast milk. it's tough because I wanted to exclusively nurse him but he tore up my nipples so now I can only pump..

I don't want to put him on formula or supplement him but it's hard😩😔😔...he won't latch to my breast or he will and then he will pitch a fit and spit it out so I'm left with pumping
