You're lucky enough to live in a state and city where you can actually make it. Where I live, rent for a two bedroom shithole apartment is upwards of $3,000 a month not including utilities. We can't even afford ramen. Lmao!

when my husband was in the army, life was so so easy. and now that we are out...just like @auuuribs mentioned, housing is expensive and our two bedroom apartment cost nearly 1,000$ a month and its the cheapest we could find in our area. its horrible. 😐

I wish that was the case out here. At least we'd be able to survive. Even with me bringing home $20+ an hour and my husband $18 we can't afford it here with the cost of living expenses and food and utilities and kids. It's ridiculous. That's why we're saving our cash and getting the fuck out of dodge. Jumping states!! Lol c

Don't let people get to you. My husband and I are both 23 years old and just bought our first house. It's brand new and were the first owners. We've had friends our age help us move and they kept making comments how they expected it to be bigger or some smart ass comment about how it could be better. I just laughed and kept my thoughts to myself. These comments were coming from people who can't keep a job and struggles to pay their bills on time. They don't even have a working vehicle, my husband has been driving him to work for the past two weeks. We've lost a lot of friends simple cuz we're further along in life and people get jealous cuz their not anywhere near as successful.

The only reason we're doing well is because he's Air Force and we've budgeted right to stay out of debt so far. Right now he's the only one working because we're about to be re-stationed in Florida in 3 weeks. We only bring home around 1,800 a month. Rent in our area for a 2 bedroom is around 1,000. But because we've never had any over due payments and our credit scores are good we are able to get approved for quite a bit. We're picky though because we don't want to over extend ourselves. It's the fact that other friends in their early 20's want to make comments about how having a baby must have been an accident purely because they couldn't make it happen right now 🙃 just because someone else is at a different point in their life and couldn't imagine having children doesn't mean our baby was an accident. I've even gotten comments about abortion. We planned this 😂 why would I want to abort a baby we planned? If people living on welfare can raise a child, then I have faith my husband and I can raise a child solely off of hard work and frugality. It won't always be easy. But I think we're doing okay. 😊

OMG I couldn't agree more with you. It seems like the people that are the most judgmental and always have something to say are either the ones that don't have any kids at all, or are the ones that are living off of the welfare system and shamming EBT.

OR still live at mommy and daddys house sucking their parents dry of everything and they are already in their twenties. So I salute you! You go girl! 👍🏼👌🏼❤️

apartments rent is that high for yu ladies. here there anywhere from 500-600 .. I thought it was hard here but never mind... I wish all yu ladies nothing but the best...
