no I used it on my son. it cleans it, water just makes it wet. rubbing acohol actually dries

take him to the doctor they have this special stuff that dry it up and make it feel every good

Looks completely normal to me. What we did was put alcohol once a day, you don't want to dry his skin either. Wet a cotton ball with alcohol, and you drip a little on the belly button. I think we used to do it after a bath
