mommies , what's the most you all have paid for a decent baby shower ?

my mom did my first and my friend is doing my second. so not sure

I got all my decorations at the dollar store! Way cheaper than anywhere else

Holy cow! Yeah I like to take the cheapest route 😅 dollar store for decorations, cheap but yummy food, and games that don't cost any more than $1. I'm not even having a photographer haha my mom can take some pics on her phone. But in the end it'll all be worth it, especially if you get a lot of good presents 🎉 @keeshonta @mommyof20816

I spent about $130 in total , food , decorations, door prizes , everything included

we are having ours at our local lake. debating on cooking out or just getting a bunch of pizzas. dont have to worry about games because we are fishing and swimming. we are doing our shower by our self and paying for it all. so the cheaper the better. getting all my decorations from the dollar store.

I'm basically doing the same as @mommyto3.16 I'm having a cook out at a park at a rec center. It's $30/hr to rent the space and it has a pool, pavilion, playground, a room looking out onto the park, a lake, etc. But at my shower I'm inviting the whole family so I needed entertainment for everyone.

Thankfully our "venue" is free 😂 technically you are supposed to pay like 5 bucks a car for all day but no one does since no one is there to in force it .

it has a pool && playground where we are having our shower which is $275 for the entire day plus the decorator is charging $600 cause we are having a French Parisian themed shower . @Mommyto3.16 @dang_dridri

@keeshonta, oh ok. I saved a lot because we have a family DJ, photographer, and party planner that's handling the decor. So that helps a lot.

we haven't decorated her room yet . we gone wait a few more weeks for that && we probably do out maternity shoot in the beginning of July so that we can have the pictures at the shower . @ynm1990

by the time she is one I'll be one DIY mom 😂 ihave already ordered a monogramming machine && watching tutorials on how to make bows etc . @dang_dridri

@keeshonta, 😂 you & me both girl. I refuse to keep spending all this money, especially with twins. Lol. I'm going to have to get creative real quick.

@keeshonta, I was told to wait until about 34 weeks so my belly is nice and round and my shower was at 32 weeks but it was still awesome
