Easy 5k on the treadmill at 23 weeks. Wish I could run more, but my bladder and pelvis don't agree. 😜 Any runners still running?

I had to stop running early. I had a hemorrhage at about 10 weeks and then a few weeks of bed rest that were awful! I'm mostly back up to controlled muscle group focus with some squats, lunges and variation. but nothing too "bouncy" for me either. I just hit my second trimester yesterday so hopefully my newfound energy will reflect in my consistency!

@runningwithalab, oh nice! I'm not much of a distance runner, I love sprints though. Yes! My mom got me one :) I'm so excited to use it

I was already a marathon runner and my body was like, nope! Haha. Did you buy a running stroller?! @Kimberkatherine

@runningwithalab, yah, I don't know either! I guess if they were already marathon runners it doesn't feel out of the ordinary for their bodies but I ache so much after running. Can't wait to get back to it after the baby is born.

Oh wow. Yeah. I haven't even attempted to run fast. I have a little bit of pelvic discomfort sometimes after I run ( even if I run slow). I don't know how some of these ladies run marathons while pregnant. 😂 I wish I felt that good to run! @Kimberkatherine

I was doing my sprint intervals on the treadmill until I was around 25-26 weeks but because my ligaments started loosening so early (early preparation for labor) my doctor told me no more cardio that is too 'bouncy.' :/ I miss my treadmill sessions but I do the stair master now😅 I miss my runs though!
