When did you guys start your lo on rice cereal?

@hlanc4, and you always start with it in the bottle then work your way up to the bowl? Right lol

I don't think I did bottle I did in a bowl . I always thought it was thick but I know a lot of people do in bottle of just do a little so lo does t get frustrated trying to eat it

If nothing else ask your dr what they recommend, everyone is different! Some babies don't like cereal or it makes them spit up more and some Drs will say you can start foods sooner?! @kennyshakur

call your wic or ped first. I think i was told because i BF to wait 6m or older. i was also told by my kids ped not to mix in a bottle. do the bowl because it is a growing milestone and teaches them the differance between drinking and eating. if your BF you can mix breast milk with it. goodluck.

I started at 3m in his night time bottle to help him sleep. I still do this today and he is 6m now. But starting at 5m I gave him cereal in his morning bottle as well.
