I wanted to be induced because I knew something was wrong it took two months of me complaining for them to do it glad they finally listened because my son could have been still born my sister in laws dr told her she could try to start labor herself at 36 weeks and I'm over here shaking my head like no she should cook longer

I prayed my baby would come on her own before I had to be induced but she didn't. I was induced at 39 wks 3 days for medical reasons but I wanted soooo bad to experience it naturally 😔 granted I tried to have a baby for 10 yrs and went through everything you can imagine to have a healthy baby so I enjoyed every second of my pregnancy when I wasn't worrying and thinking the worst would happen!

I was told they wanted to induce me at 39 weeks with Aarem and I told them to F off, and of course with Oliver I would have LOVED to carry to term. I don't understand it at all, but you're amazing @jennatess for going past term and you're promoting waiting until baby is ready. =] you're the best. I wish other women here could be like you.

It drives me insane to see how many people on here WANT to be induced early

@mrssanderson, and for no good reason except that their feet are swollen and it's hard to sleep. Okay. Yeah, but that's all apart of pregnancy! It's a miracle! How do they think women did it 100 years ago. They sucked it up, and carried their children as long as their body and the good lord intended! (Sorry! Rant! Hahaha)

I agree 100%! I was induced at just under 41 weeks because my son was 10lbs & my blood pressure was elevated, the experience was far from enjoyable. I ended up having an emergency csection after 27 hours of painful labor & wasn't even able to see my son until he was over 2 hours old... I feel like so many women are quick to want induction without fully understanding the process & risks that come along with it.
