So my dad has an alcohol problem. This results in his personal care being less that adequate at times. He has a heart of gold and I love him to bits. However, I've been thinking I don't want him anywhere near my new born (as bad as it sounds) because I'm scared he may be covered in germs or drop the baby. . and I know he's going to want to meet him straight away.

I know I'm going to have to just approach the subject but it's not an easy one 😩
