Does anyone else have an awful relationship with their MIL ? My fiancés mom and dad aren't together. I get along so well with his father. But his mom tried attacking me at the beginning of my pregnancy, not just once but twice. She thinks I should forgive her and move on. I don't want her at the hospital. She tries getting money from us all the time and when we say no she flips. I'm just tired of her trying to control my fiance and in the end take things away from our son. She also has done things in the past to my fiance that are awful!Am I wrong to not want anything to do with her?

no. i can't stand my husband's parents. they are alcoholics and his dad beats his mom. they have never liked me. and tbh my husband don't like them because they abused him (threw him across the room when he was little) he has ADD and he is alil slow but hes not stupid. YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT NOT TO WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH HER

wow that's awful!!! My fiance was abused also but not like that but by his ex step dad. I have so many stories about her I could make a book. I'm just annoyed with it all. She tries making us look bad! @smb_mommy

i know the feeling. we have all gotten into fights (ive slapped his mom ) they call me a "rich bitch " lol they are crazy. im glad we moved away

My MIL hates me, but its ok I really dont care. lol.

we moved over an hour away from her and I still feel like we are trapped in her little world. I just wish she would leave him alone.

Me and my mil get along (for now lol) but she runs her mouth a lot behind my back, especially to my 14 yr old which I can't stand because as an adult she should know better. We've had lots of go arounds though, I miss my father in law he passed back in 2010 of cancer, he kept her sane and I got along a whole lot better with him.
