what all did yall bring to the hospital for • your bag . • daddys bag . • babys bag .

Idk how other hospitals are but I didn't need anything but a going home outfit for the baby and myself. Everything else the hospital provided

@princesssskxo I just had my daughter on Monday and I packed a suitcase for me of clothes, underwear, pads, stuff to shower with, towels, warm socks an pillow and blanket to be more comfy. My boyfriend packed a bag of stuff for himself so he can change an shower then for the baby I packed a coming home outfit, socks, pj's, bib, burp cloths, blankets, and then diapers, wipes an other things but the hospital will give you thoughs things as well.

I would just pack 2 outfits for you, tooth brush tooth paste hair brush face wash (I would ask the hospital if they provide soap or shampoo most at least provide soap and then add what they don't provide), any clothes you want to put baby in, anything related to bringing baby home (carseats blanket hat), entertainment for s/o, and maybe an outfit or 2 for s/o if he plans on staying over night

I'd call your hospital and see what they provide. My hospital provided everything for both baby and I. I found useful a robe and slippers. An extra blanket because hospitals get cold. and some snacks for daddy since you can't eat till after baby is born. Cloths for daddies stay and then going home outfit for you and baby. I did end up taking a pair of shorts and a T-shirt and changed into them and it made me feel a little better since I was in the hospital a total of five days. and then your essentials, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Pads were given to me as well.

that's all I really used. I brought waaaay more than that and didn't use hardly any of it. Maybe add a burp rag but they should provide diapers wipes and pads of not add those too obviously lol.

I am going to pack as if we're visiting one of our parents for the weekend. So just the essentials. Underwear shirts socks toothbrush chargers etc. stuff you'll NEED. And then any extra stuff depends on your birth plan. If you're getting an epidural you probably won't NEED "flip flops for the shower" because you'll be restricted to your bed. Whereas if you're having a natural birth, you're allowed to move around and you may want to bring flip flops for the shower. Just make a list and think it trough.

Girl I brought the bare minimum and that was still too much lol I used my toothbrush, toothpaste, shower stuff, a robe, and going home outfit. Nothing else. They provide underwear to hold the big pass up with, but I brought boy shorts and thought it held them up better. All you need for baby is a onesie and a going home outfit. My husband packed shower stuff and a change of clothes. We fit all of our stuff in one bag. Trust me, the less you take, the better. I also brought my own pillow but they give you one and will also give you extra blankets if you need

Never brought a daddy bag he can come and go as he pleases ... I packed a few outfits for baby and baby shampoo ( I'd rather bathe the baby myself ) I brought extra nightgowns and lounge wear for me and clothes to wear home and the car seat that's really all

yeah cause I had 3 big bags and 2 pillows in the car (one of them the boppy) and I felt like I hardly touched any of the bags

I had a natural birth and brought flip flops and still didn't use them because I mean labor is a lot to go through and I forgot I had them I was just happen to get a few minutes to myself to feel clean again @kristenrosasco

@princesssskxo, i just had my baby a couple of days ago and honestly i dont think it was necessary for me to bring too much stuff.if u plan to shower there then bring extra clothes,drying towel,tooth brush,body scrubber,etc..i didnt shower there.i only needed deodorant,toothbrush,money,cell phone charger.your going home outfit,babies going home outfit,your clinic records if provided by clinic,warm socks,breasfeeding bra,insurance papers, colmbm,robe.the hospital provides alot of things you can ask for while your there.

@peanuts1mom, yeah I'm having a natural birth and I'm not worried about flip flops. Who cares about bacteria. Hospitals are usually clean as shit 😂✌🏼️

The hospitals provide diapers wipes burp towels etc for baby. And honestly, they take him/her out of your room so much to do tests, shots, etc that if he needs anything, they took care of getting it for him 😊 all you have to do is ask and they will get you anything you need

I've heard stories about you could still see blood and hair from someone else on the shower floor but mine at least looked clean that I remember 😂 @kristenrosasco

I only brought one pair of pjs and going home outfit for me and baby and hubby brough two everyday clothes one set of pjs and something to go out in everything else is given at the hospital oh and carseat of course

@kristenrosasco, you're only restricted to your bed (if getting the epidural) until the numbness wares off. I was up walking & showering 30 mins to an hour after I had both my boys. So flip flops work great for the shower regardless. 😊

im doing an all natural water birth so im not too worried about being restricted to my bed . i just cant get past the fact that id be barefoot in a shower where multiple other women who i dont know showered 😷 @cait.mommyto3

@princesssskxo, I just didn't find it necessary for my hubby to stay with me the whole day and night .. This time we have two other children and I'll be in for a few days with a c section I told him he can stay at night and bring the kids up during the day but honestly the hospital is boring and the baby will be attatched to my boob anyway and or we will be sleeping he doesn't need to watch us .. There is a gym around the corner he can also go to and as long as he brings me good food back I'm all good .. Truthfully u don't need much .. The only reason I brought my own baby shampoo and stuff is the sucked at cleaning my babies hair .. Oh and I did bring my own shampoo conditioner , dryer and make up if I needed or wanted it
