You're supposed to be drinking more water then usual. Taking out blood causes dehydration.

Also, if they didn't put you on a fast, you can still eat. Just nothing that contains sugar. I ate a veggie tray with ranch + tons of water.

they said I have to fast but didn't tell me anything about drinking water or juice so I was like what am I gonna do I need water I'm so thirsty. .lol @mommakaz thanks for telling me tho help me a lot I was about to freak out! ahahh

lol yeah they seem to leave out a lot of important info at times. Juice is a big no, loaded with sugar. But water is a must, especially when giving blood. I had to do my test twice because the first time I had nothing on my system so when I drank the glucose drink I threw up lol second time I was drinking water for an hour before hand. not over board, but enough. good luck on your test!:)
