This may just be hormones but I'm really pissed off at my mum!! I said that we have 5 dummies so my daughter had better take a dummy and my mum started going on about how I shouldn't even offer her a dummy unless she's screaming and won't settle... She then went on to say that she hopes I won't just shove a dummy in her mouth instead of comforting her!!! Wtf?!

My biggest regret is not giving a dummy to my now 8 month old when he was born. Its made life really difficult! You know best so dont worry about what people say xx

@firsttimemummy21, from experience say 'thank you for you input, however I will raise my child/ren how I deem fit. if I ever feel I need advice I will call you for it'
my eldest nd youngest didn't have dummies but my middle child did. it genuinely depends on the child. alot of people do just shove a dummy in to shut them up which I don't agree with myself, I will use dummies again with these twins If I feel they need them! just remember your baby not anybody else's, keep smiling hun xxx

my middle daughter didn't have a dummy, instead she sucked her thumb! It wasn't for the lack of trying but she kept spitting it out @firsttimemummy21. I always remember my midwife asking on my third child if she would be having a dummy and when I said yes she said 'good cos you cant throw a thumb away'. haha
