Our intimacy use to be so beautiful. We use to make love so romantically. Though he still tells me everyday, throughout the day that I'm beautiful... I don't feel like I am. We never make love. I have to be the one to start it and when I do it's over in no time. I feel so unattractive and unwanted. 28 weeks of this... No wonder why I'm so emotional and moody. My hormones are everywhere and I never get a release. It sucks watching him throughout the day, so handsome and sexy. He's working a lot, more then usual. So he just comes home and goes straight to bed after our bubble baths. I miss him... I miss us. 😢

Things definitely change once you have a baby, or are pregnant, there so much going on with your body. Your SO adjusting to the new situation also, just give it some time, and express your concerns to him. Make some time for each other, and don't forget to communicate with each other. I hope things get better for you.

My husband said when I was pregnant he felt like I was this precious thing that he needed to protect and for some reason sex felt like a violation of that. Of course he got over it when he realized how unhappy it was making me. Men are weird. They have hormonal responses to us when we're pregnant. If we were in the wild they would need to protect us since we would be vulnerable so sometimes our manly men go into survival mode. We just have to remind them that it's 2016 and momma needs some lovin to feel good about herself.

@jana.bear, omg I never even looked at it in that way! That makes so much sense! My fiance is such a sweetheart, and he's always been super protective over me. That could be it, he's even more protective now. And this is his first baby too so he's in papa bear mode.
