Don't let anyone pressure you. It's your body. I know I'm going to do a vaginal birth and still want to get my tubes tied after. It's hard on your body any way you do it. It's a woman's personal choice if she's done or not. 😌

Oh ok Hun @serrano_girl I am scheduled to have mine in 2 weeks and there are not as bad as ppl make them seem but it's totally up to you to make that decision and maybe the doctors feel like that's they best way ...but I wish you a safe delivery love

they're honestly really not that bad, if you get up and walk as soon as they let you, you heal so much faster, its painful, but take your meds when they ask if you need any, it helps.. I understand what you mean though, I had a csection and was only 17 so was really scared and have decided not to have anymore kids because of that. i also dont want to get preeclampsia again and go through it all over, so I know how you feel lol, its your body so your choice BUT remember if you do have a csection (what they dont tell you) is to use a pillow and apply light pressure to your incision if you need to laugh or cough, trust me.. it feels like youre being ripped open if you dont lol

I don't blame you. As a mom who had 2 vaginal and 1 cesarean, I think they are horrible. I thank goodness for them because we save many babies and mothers because of them. But in general, i wouldn't wish a cesarean on anyone.

Don't let them force it on you just because you have gestational diabetes. I have it as well. My doctor is 100% on board for me attempting to do it vaginally. As long as you and the baby aren't in danger I would proceed like normal until it's necessary. I say that because that's what my doctor told me to do.

Yes definitely fight it. No point of putting your body through a major surgery. I don't care how routine it is or how many years of experience a doctor has in C-sections it's still a major surgery and should not be taken lightly because it's becoming the norm. I'm glad you have a midwife to help you through this.

I had a c section with my son, it was an emergency and I was in labor for three days. I didn't want one and fought until the very end when I knew it needed to happen for my sake and my sons life. it wasn't bad, it was scary and lots of things during the procedure freaked me out. But the healing process was the worst. mainly because it took a long time and I was out of commission for weeks. but the walking helped me heal faster. but you don't have to Sign those consent papers.
