How do you Preggie mamas deal with severe rib pain?

I would use a cold washcloth on the ribs. It helped a bit.

Hot bath and my son is like his daddy. He don't like hot bath so as soon I soak in it he chilling with all them spartan kicks to my ribs

@deafmama16, lol that's hilarious! I'm not sure what exactly caused it, I think she may be laying on a nerve or something because it's the back of my ribs hurting. Thank goodness I have a Drs appt tomorrow!

a heating pad in intervals! my son kicked my ribs so much they were bruised my first pregnancy.

@naynay538, oh no, that's awful! Mine was in the back of my ribs, had an appt today & was in so much pain I was crying at check in. They said mine was back spasms. Had to give me a muscle relaxer which scared me but I'm hoping just the one will take care of it

@naynay538, thanks. It turns out that I actually tore the cartilage between the ribs the day after I posted this 😳 super excruciating pain. Thank God it's a little better today after icing for 2 days.

Oh my gosh well at least you've got a difinitive answer to what was hurting you. I hope that's something that heals fast!!
