My boyfriend says once Carlie comes, I can write him a grocery list when we need things and he will go pick them up or I can go and he will stay home with the baby. Im loving that hes so helpful and understanding. Who else is going to be wanting their baby to stay home as much as possible for the first couple months?? I feel like I have to protect her from anyone and everything so I'll do everything I can to do so.

I plan on keeping my baby inside for about a month, but it's also not healthy to keep them inside away from things too long momma it builds up their immune system as soon as their born it's called adapting instead of doing it a few months later I plan on doing it once she's born, less health issues in the future! My friend kept her baby inside for 4 months and he's constantly sick when he goes out and is in contact with the dust in the air and stuff. So make sure not to keep your baby in too too long.

Oh I'm not @briezzy I only plan on keeping her in as much as possible til she gets her two month shots.. then we will be taking her out. I just didn't want to take any big chances in the beginning. :) but thank you and I'll definitely be having her out a lot more once it's a little safer to do so. I'm just new to all this and want her to be protected

I feel the same, limiting contact with certain things until first round of shots but with that said, we are having summer babies so taking her for walks outside before then is totally fine my dr said. She said she'd more shy away from taking her to large indoor crowded areas like a mall etc. but I'm sure baby will be coming with me to food shop as my SO works 60hrs a week, so I will just try to go first thing in the morning when it isn't busy!

thanks for the info @bria we have a really nice stroller his parents bought us along with the car seat so I can definitely see us taking her for walks. I didn't really think about that but in the nice weather and not being around others it won't hurt. :) I mainly do want to keep her away from large crowds though because you just never know what someone may have. and early morning shopping is the best.. not too crowded and my favorite part is produce is the best and freshest at that time , lol.

Exactly it's like a win/win. Lol. And yeah I'm definitely gonna be careful about who handles her, tdap was really important to me because it's on the rise in the state I live in (you can search online if your state is) so I don't want people handling her unless they get it. My mom and SO are going to and I know my stepson has all his shots (he's 8 and it's required for school here). Anyone else won't be touching her lol

that's exactly why my sister and her husband won't be coming up here to PA to see their niece be born. he refuses to get the shot and I refuse to let him come up unless he does. his excuse is he is afraid of needles.. seriously. my boyfriends parents are getting the shot, I got it and my boyfriend did. anyone else who plans on holding her will get it also. I'm not taking any chances whatsoever. @bria

You really can't take the chance it's not worth risking it at all! My god parents are currently in Italy visiting family and are arriving back the day before my due date and I feel totally uncomfortable with handling the baby at all since they traveled internationally. I will be asking my dr for her opinion but still I don't trust it. That's gonna make them flip I'm sure, especially cuz the townhouse they own and live in during the summer (they're snowbirds) is legit down the street from me.. Lol. But too bad my baby is first priority.... Scared of needles though? Seriously? Sounds like a load of BS .. That or ur sisters husband is a complete pussy lol
