so im potty training my son ive been taking him to the toilet for 3 days so far and hes finally getting the hang of peeing in the toilet but he does intend to lie and gets scared to poop in the toilet... i use pull ups at night time, when were out and about or when he plays outside. does it take longer for boys to get potty trained? every time he goes potty in the toilet i reward him with a favorite snack he likes :)

My sister had a harder time potty training her sons then she did her girls. Guess it all depends on the child though.

did she do any other techniques to try and help them go poop on the toilet then in theur underwares? @babynessa

We'll my sister is kinda strict with her kids. So if they pooped in their pants she spanks them. But I do know my aunt made it fun with a sticker chart if he went poop he got two stickers, pee he got one. When he filled the chart up she would let him pick any toy at the store.

aww okay thank you!:) yeah my son still intends to poop in his underwares and i tell him its okay youre not in trouble you just
have to go poop on the toilet & he will get a cookie & i ask him every 5 mins if he needs to go and he tells me no but thank u (: @babynessa

with my daughter I just kept her in her underwear all day even if she had accidents and I stayed home for like a week without going anywhere so she could get the hang of it. she used pull ups for about 3 days at night time but now I just make her go pee before bed and I don't give her any liquids before bed either.. it's a process but you'll get there :) my daughter has been potty trained for about a month now.
