My labor story:

Went in Wednesday at 4pm to be induced. Was not dilated at all. Got the cervidil about 7:30pm and let it sit until 6am the next day. When they took it out I was dilated to 1cm. Started pitocin shortly after removal of cervidil. Pitocin was uped by 2 every 20 minutes. Contractions really started to hit about 9am when pitocin was 18. Not long after I was in some serious pain and asked for medicine. I was given stadol through my IV, which I hated! Stadol didn't do anything for me so I asked for the epidural. At that point I was 3cm dilated. Got my epidural and not long after the doctor came in to break my water at 3/4cm. Was feeling great until about 6pm that night at 5cm. Then the pain started again and I was feeling every contraction. I was in excruciating pain for about 3 hours. I was throwing up, shaking, crying and begging for a c section. Baby's heartrate was dropping with every contraction and I couldn't be in any position but sittng straight up, I even had oxygen to help. Come to find out my epidural had come out. At that point I was 8cm dilated. I got a second epidural and was completely fine again with no pain. Was stuck at 9cm for a couple hours. Finally progressed enough and started pushing at 10pm. Pushed about 6 times then called the doctor (had to wait a good 30 minutes for her to show up and set up) Pushed just a couple more times and baby was born at 10:54pm Thursday night.
