Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
My baby father has some things on his mind. 🤷🏾 ♀ 🤷🏾 ♀ 🤷🏾 ♀ Any suggestions on what I should do?
I had my gender reveal at his grave so he could be with us. 😊 That's me, my mom, my dad, & my niece in the picture.
If you have done maternity pictures post them in the comments! I have mine tomorrow and have absolutely no idea of what to do. I do not have the father doing them with me and pintrest has not helped me at all.
23&Me update: I’m so sorry to keep you all hanging! It’s been an insanely busy last few days. So this is going to be a long post, heads up! So it’s always been a joke in our family that my dad wasn’t actually my biological dad- So I’ve had an idea. My cousin on my dads side did 23&Me so I did it then so it would match us as cousins (or not) and we’d know. Well, as you know it came back that he wasn’t my cousin. Therefore concluding that my dad wasn’t my biological dad. And that’s okay! My dad was a wonderful father. I never wanted for anything, and I was fully loved. So no worries! He passed away in 2016. It linked me with a first cousin that I’ve never met. She immediately messaged me, and we started to dig. It was almost immediately that we figured out it was her uncle on her mother’s side. And after talking for a bit, it came out that he ran around with my dad‘s/mom’s friend group. The story goes that my dad and mom were together.l in 1988. They then broke up for about five or six weeks. Then got back together and stayed together for another 6 years. My due date was March 8. So when my mom figured out she was pregnant (at 29 weeks! Super late.) she went to my grandma freaking out. They counted back and figured I was conceived when my dad and mom got back together after their break. Welllll, I was then born February 21st. 9lbs. Fully functional. No nicu time. Even the doctor said “ we may have got the due date wrong”. So that would mean I was actually conceived during those five or six weeks when my mom and dad were broken up. So anyway, I met my new cousin for drinks! I’ll link a picture so you can see the similarities. She’s so sweet and we immediately hit it off. We have so many things in common, and she invited me to her bachelorette party and I just got an invitation to her wedding. 🥺❤ We are already so close. And then the following night I met the biological father, my aunt (my cousins mom), and my grandmother. I started off with letting them know that my father will always be treated with respect. We will only speak of him with respect. I told them that I love him fully, and I had a wonderful childhood so there will be no hard feelings there. Everyone totally agreed. I’m super thankful because the grandmother is super liberal. 😂. I was a little afraid considering they’re from southern Illinois. Hahah. Everything was super easy, and fun! My biological father, Dale, was thrilled. He said he questioned my mom twice after I was born, and she shut it down and told him that I was my dads. He was then pretty much kicked out of the friend group, and he told me he had put it completely out of his mind and that he was sorry he didn’t push more. I told him it’s totally okay since I had a happy childhood. He texted me after I left telling me that that was the happiest he’s been in at least 15 years. We will be having a family reunion in October so everyone can meet me & my kids. Honestly I think it’s kind of a blessing in disguise. My dad has passed on. And while it breaks me to know my kids will never know him personally, I think it’s cool that they could potentially have another grandfather to get to know! So I have to 2 half siblings! I am the definition of family oriented, so I’m so excited! He will be telling my siblings today, and I will be telling my mom that I know either tonight or tomorrow. I’m going to approach it with nothing but kindness and let her know that I’m not upset at all. She’s very emotional, so I’m hoping that goes well. Honestly she’s the only one that I’m worried about. My sisters (that I grew up with) also think it’s super cool. Everyone has been totally excepting so far and I think this could be a really cool experience!
