How do you ladies deal with family members who overstep their boundaries with your children and are…

we talk it out. i let it be known that he's my son and whatever i say or what his father says goes.

I let it be know what they did was wrong and if they continue to do it, I cut them off. I've cut my "mom" off because of it.

@mamaash, @kelseys thank you, ladies. It's some people from my husband's side of the family and I'm not exactly close to them so I don't know how to communicate with them without offending anyone. 😕

that was where I had problems I live with my in laws and my mil was sorta getting upset with me for not letting people I didn't know hold my son. just because she knows them. and now she respects it. if someone's a stranger to me and doesn't even know my name and is rude I'm not about to let my son be held by them. o hope whatever miscommunication you have with yours you get figured out love

maybe tell your husband to tell them or just start out by saying, "I don't mean to offend you in any way, but I feel..... because you did...... so I would appreciate it if you didn't do it again....." Whenever my SIL does something to my oldest son and I feel offended or don't agree with it, I say that just so that it doesn't cause an argument.

I don't deal with them they get the axe!!! ✌🏼️. After having or attempting to have a discussion and if they still don't listen they just get cut off, no more questions asked.
