@arivera64 told me about the nexplanon and I'm still iffy about it I go to get birth control on the 13th and I was just wanting to hear good stories about it. I read one bad story and it scared me to death. I'm also going to ask my obgyn what he thinks is best but I'm considering the nexplanon. So did y'all like it??
Mines did because I had a male nurse who was entirely too rough!! The thing they use to inject it in your arm got stuck!! 😤😖 and his hands were TOO BIG so yeah😟😒 lol
They numb the spot they put it in. They used a very very small needle with a lot of numbing medicine and I didn't feel a thing. @rockysmommy
honestly I used the nuva ring and I liked it allot Im not good at remembering pills and didn't want the shot for the same reason it was 8 years ago so there really wasn't all these different kinds like now but it never once fell out 3 weeks in 1 week out and start a new one I got my tubes tied this time so I didn't have to worry about it at all @rockysmommy
I have the Nexplanon. I love it. Don't even know its there unless I go looking for it. I havn't had any problems with it. Glad I didn't listen to everyone's bad experience and went for it because I honestly believe it was the best choice I made.
i am also considering the nexplanon implant. my midwife said it might cause weight gain but it may not. i have read people's stories about not liking it but i have read a lot of good ones too. i guess it just depends because everyone is different. but i might try it and go from there if i keep it or not.
@pilypilypily, I suck at remembering to take pills and my friend got pregnant with the mirena and lost the baby.
@katarama, @mimiz @rylees_mommy well I can't take the pill because I'm terrible at remembering to take pills. I don't want the depo shot I've heard everyone gains weight on it. I've read that the nuvaring falls out so nope on it. I'm just wanting something that works lol
I've only heard bad expierences about it. You could get an IUD or pills. I had the Mirena IUD, everything was perfect except for one thing. It was uncomfortable for my husband.. 😕 I even had my OB cut the string a little and still. So i had to remove it
I have the implanon or the nexplanon I can't remember 😂 but it hasn't gave me any problems at the moment but I CANT take the pill it's given me soooo many problems and I've tried 3 different kind
Not every birth control is for everyone we all won't react the same I've had mine for about 3 weeks now so I can't even tell you much
mine did not hurt. There was a little bruising the next few days but that's all. I've heard more horror stories about Mirena with ppl getting it embeded in the uterus and needing surgery etc. I also had Mirena and it caused severe pain, non stop bleeding, and dizzy spells that caused me to faint and bang my head on my kitchen cabinet. Every birth control is not for everyone. You can unfortunately never know what your story will be. Whatever you decide, you just need to trust the doctors because that's one of the biggest causes of issues is the birth control not being placed properly
