How many mom's let their baby cry it out? If not how did you get your baby to sleep alone? Our daughter isn't even two weeks old yet but I'm curious to see what others have done.

My boyfriend puts our son in a portable rocking crib and he falls right to sleep for him. I'm trying to transition him into his crib and I let him cry for like five minutes go back reassure him I'm still in the room then so on. DEFINITELY START EARLY ON. I'm having a difficult time get him use to the crib since it's a flat space and it doesn't rock he doesn't like it
