Rant** my son goes to bed everyday at 7:30. Everytime we go to my boyfriend's parent's house (even though it's 10 mins away) we always stay till 7:20 and then I have to rush to get my son ready for bed here, bath, bottle, etc. I always ask my bf if we could leave before 6:30, 7. And when it comes to that time, my bf says ok let's go but gets distracted and bullshits until it's super late and I'm bitching at that point! I wish I didn't have to nag and he could be more responsible and think of our son before him wanting to have fun with his family. Btw we get there early too and spend 6+ hours there so it's not like we don't spend a lot of time there. It's just selfish because our son has a hard time going to bed when he is overtired like last night! 😡😡😡 end rant**

Next time bathe him before you go and bring his night night Bottle and pjs with you. I'm sure he will fall asleep and stay asleep if that's his true bedtime then once you get back home all you gotta do is switch him from car seat to crib. Family time is obviously important to your husband and with a few small adjustments you guys can have the best of both! Try not to nag, your husband is probably trying his best and may feel guilty for leaving his family home before he feels his family is ready for him to leave. I also agree that you can't schedule life around nap time!

Oh wow guys. with naps I am fine with taking him out. I just thought that with his bedtime sleep he should be home. Thanks for your input though maybe I am a little stern 🤔 @lp1988727 @momof2.16
