My sister did it and it worked out for her but if u do u have to be ready to go to the hospital

Lol but it's better to ask someone u know personally instead of reading those articles everyone's body is different someone told me u have to already be dilated for it to work or u just get the runs and bad cramps

Its not that its out of the blue, its just they are now coming to the conclusion as to where problems began. When you take castor oil, you risk the baby pooping in the womb be cause its so strong, and once its in the womb, and the baby inhales it, the baby can have problems when born

One lady on here told everyone her story, and unfortunately the baby passed away :(

I know about that as well its actually the only real risk they have found.The feces from the baby gets inhaled by baby (if this happens) and your child will be in nicu to suction everything out. @rachel8792

@alexusasia420, my mom is Jamaican and swears by it! ppl have bad experiences bc they od on it. in my mom's words you have to be past or close to your due date you also are suppose to have contraction but no consistent and most importantly you only suppose to take a cap full on a empty stomach. I read this lady post on here where her baby passed away and no shade but she was drinking it consistently with out contractions and was like 36weeks and just wanted to have the baby early welllllllllllllllll. *cough* ppl have been doing this from the beginning of time all though I believe in let the baby come when they ready I still don't see harm in other methods as well.

@cammyj84, yeah and that's my whole thing, women have been using caster oil for years and no studies show anything about babies not making it.Now because someone didn't follow directions, its harmful? This scares moms shitless and leave some in genuine pain when doctors keep telling them if they not over due or physical problems shown, There's no way their baby is to be born.😥

Not to be nosey or anything but why do you want to take castor oil if youre only 37 weeks?? My opinion would be to just let the baby come when he/she wants to...
