Ok mamas, so my sister (not a professional) was giving me a shoulder massage and she was going in kind of deep in my shoulder blades cause she felt a knot. than after I was looking online and saying that it's not good and can cause harm to baby, especially in first trimester. Now I'm freaking out :(
I'm a massage therapist. We don't massage women during the first trimester for the risk of miscarriage or any other scares that can happen. However, your sister would've needed to hit certain trigger points REALLY hard for anything to happen so don't stress. There are no trigger points in your shoulder blades that can affect you or the baby. Avoid any trigger points on top of your shoulders and in your feet, ankles and hands. Just be careful, no more massages til second trimester. :)
ok thank you so much mama♡♡♡
