It's so funny bc my hubby ask me why I don't talk to him like I do with my homies or when I go home(philly). When with him I use my white girl voice. But I don't use my slang with him bc he would never understand me. He speaks Spanish and English is newer to him ( 6 years ) but still his English is good but he don't my slang. Like i had to tell him what lit was 😂😩 stuff like that.
I miss my slang sometimes bc that's the real me. Not my white girl voice 😂😂

being from a different part of my state my SO doesn't pronounce things weird and me I do and when I go home to my town and come back he looks at me like I'm talking French to him because of the way I start to pronounce things differently again and he scolleds me and tells me to talk normal; ugh it's been a battle since 2009.

Yes when I go home my philly accent comes out and I come back and he looks at me crazy! I get it or when I with my friends and come back and I forget and have to be like oh wait change it😂😂😂😂 @tiffrae
