Say it loud...I PUMP AND IM PROUD! I have no problem whipping my boob out any and everywhere, but I enjoy having the option to be able to sleep through the night while daddy gets up and feeds our LO. I enjoy being able to go out and get my nails done, and the LO be with her grandma. I'm a mom, but I'm also a young lady. Mommy has to take care of herself in order to take care of baby girl!

There's absolutely no reason to be ashamed of it. I don't have a choice but to pump as my LO is in the hospital. I'll breastfeed as well as pump when she comes home

@lilkountryma, is she coming home soon? I just hear some moms talk down on other moms who pump. I'm 21, finishing my bachelors degree, and going back to work soon. I have to pump!

Not for awhile yet. She was born at 28 weeks and is only 31 weeks gestation now. I totally understand. It's still breastmilk so it's still the best thing you could be doing for your child. Honestly as long as they're being fed what settles on their belly and what makes them healthy that's what's most important. I pump for her now because breastmilk is best for premature babies and I'll breastfeed as well as pump when we go home. You go mama! don't let anyone put you down
