I have a question about making an ultrasound appointment. Can I make an appointment on my own without my doctor "sending" me. Would insurance cover it? Would I have to pay out of pocket and how much?

My doctor was going to send me to get an ultrasound this week but I changed insurance and had to push back my appointment. I don't want to wait I want to 👀my 👶🏼.
