Don't let them put you down like that. It doesn't matter whether you have the same or a different parenting style than them or you do things that they don't like. You will raise your child the best that you can and that's all that matters. At the end of the day it's just you and your baby
Every parent is different. My mom tells me all the time she messed up so many times but I honestly think she did a wonderful job. I think thats why kids don't remember the beginning. It gives us parents a chance to make a few mistakes.
