Midwife put me on bed rest today due to spotting and cramping. No need to go in yet. I learned today though that their office doesn't do ultrasounds until 20 weeks. Isn't that super late? My midwife did say that if the spotting continues Monday they will schedule me an ultrasound in the next week since it's my first pregnancy after miscarriage.

I had 1 ultrasound before 20 weeks to confirm the pregnancy, I had the anatomy scan done at 22 weeks. it does seem kind of late for the first ultrasound but every doctor is different

I got a ultrasound at 12 weeks and another at 20 for the gender. idk why they would wait all the way until 20 weeks

you usually have a 12w scan then a anatomy scan at 16-20wks

I had an ultrasound to confirm at 8 weeks & one with my new dr at 15 weeks & I get my anatomy one at 20. That's weird they are waiting so long.

That's what I thought. The first ultrasound at 20 weeks does seem long. I may just try and get one sooner anyways.

One of the midwives I was considering worked in an office that only did one at 20 weeks unless necessary. The one I see now did one at 11 weeks and does another at 20 and no more unless issues or I'm at 41 wks.
