I felt you when you were a pea, a lemon, and then an eggplant. I read books and took advice. I talked to you and sang you, and then you were here. My 5 pound 9 ounce little love, ten fingers and ten toes. There have been times when I question my abilities as a mother. But then you grab my finger with your little hands and you smile, you let me know that I'm doing something right. We're growing together, we're seeing the world like it's new.
