Oh it's possible. Mine was teething at three months and popped out two teeth at four. There's so many things that aren't even medicinal that you can give them like organic numbing cream and stuff.

Do a little pea sized drop on your finger put it on the area and I kid you not after not even two minutes my son was calm. And they're like 5 bucks and come with the paci that you can also put it on! Just make sure you read directions on anything you get!
