Mastitis is no fucking joke ☹

yes I had it and with it a fever and the shakes I hated it.

yes that's exactly how I felt, and yes I did and they tasted and smelled like something rotten but it helped

Okay yeah I was trying natural remedies but nothing's working. I'm gonna go get antibiotics I guess :( the clogged ducts were due to a biopsy on my breast and it turned into engorgement and into mastitis :( I'm getting a surgery on my boob soon so hopefully I won't get mastitis again! Mine was so bad with my second son I had 102 fever red lines throughout my breast they were so engorged and I had cracked bleeding nipples it was so awful I gave up breastfeeding my second son 😔 that's why when ever I get a clogged milk duct now I go crazy massaging and pumping a lot I never want to go through that again!

Yeah I tried massaging a ton and for some reason it didn't help :( and oh god that sounds awful! I would probably stop breastfeeding after that too!!!! @ab

Have you called your doctor? They may be able to get you some meds
