I'm only pumping an 1oz or so between both boobs at 6 days pp and I'm basically having to pump it…

newborns don't eat a whole lot. Don't panic, you're pumping more than I did when my baby was that young :) keep going!

But soon it'll be more than 1oz and I don't wanna do formula too @diller464

@jennaboo, you will have more milk production at least after a week. It happened to me i was worried before about how little milk i had days after giving birth. Try to calm down, stress can slow milk production sometimes. Things will get better😉😘

Your milk will adjust to baby's needs. As long as you keep up with feeding your boobs will produce more. It is possible to not supply enough, I couldn't produce what she needed. She was always fussy, didn't sleep well, and wasn't gaining weight. I supplemented and eventually had to switch her to formula

Like I told you earlier your supply sounds very similar to mine. If I'm really lucky I can get 60mls between both boobs very seldom. Usually it's less than that. But my baby is supposed to eat around 80-85mls every 3 hours so I'm having to supplement with formula until my supply catches up. It won't upset their stomach to do that, especially if you use a formula that is made to be gentle. Oakley's dr has him eating enfamil gentlease as a supplement and we haven't had an issue. I decided to buy the mother's milk tea, it's got fenugreek in it which is supposed to help with supply, I've seen several ladies on here and on my other pregnancy/baby apps recommend it if you wanted to give it a try too!

Try putting him to breast more often that will signal your breast to make more milk. Some times the pump cam throw your breast off also.
