Just curious.. If im Scheduled to have a C-section at 5:30pm what time will I most likely have my baby? just wondering because if its after 8pm I can't have visitors till the next day 😥 but then I like the fact that it's gonna be me, husband, and baby alone 😊 for a while till family start coming the next day

You will be in preop and in recovery for awhile and it also depends on if surgeries ahead of u are on time

My c section was scheduled. it was scheduled for 3pm, had him at 332pm visitors got to see him around 5 I would say.

yep! checked in at 1pm got fluids meds and prepped and then right at 3 they did my epidural, the minute it kicked in dr walked in, my husband got to come in and then they immediately began I would say by 315. He was out within about 15mins! =D then once he was cleaned up my husband brought him to me to see him then they went to the recovery room while they finished stitching me up then got wheeled to recovery where I immediately got go to do skin to skin and breastfeeding the second they put him on me. then an hour later we were aloud to have visitors

if you were scheduled at 3pm why did you go in at 1pm... will I have to go earlier to

Yea they will have you go in early. they shave you down there, put your iv in have you sign paperwork. and then once they do your epidural they will put in urinary catheter too
