I need some help. I have 2 dogs..both rescues..a bonded pair..Kali (a pit corgi) and Tucker (full blood pit). Tucker is almost 9, Kali is almost 5.
We just had new neighbors move in behind us and we have a fence. When the dogs go out to potty, they run to the fence and show out. They just met yesterday for the first time. Didn't go well. So..the question is how do I get them to socialize safely? They are sweet dogs that love people but I don't think they ever knew any other dogs besides each other.

my pits were the same way we had just made it to were are dogs went out at different times . cause my dogs would always bark at the dogs next door . we didnt want them to think are dogs were mean at all because they are lovers . so i had her text me when she let her dogs out just so we knew not to let are dogs out

bring one dog at a time over. they will bark, show teeth, growl, and sniff but it's to show who is alpha. The underdog with bow down to the alpha.

Good luck. I've always had big dogs growing up. My mom has a male rotti and he might be big and scary looking but he is a sweet heart.

@landuhzluv, it worked so good cause loki is like 100 pounds and trying to get him to come inside was the hardest thing ever he almost draged me acrossed the back yard i wanted to freak out . keep me updated on how it works out for you
