yesterday my husband told me he doesn't want anyone in the room but is when I delivery, my older sister has been to all my other kids births and I know she's looking forward to being at my daughters, considering she can't have children, but my husband missed his son being born due to her having pre-eclampsia and an emergency c-section and he wants it to be special between just us, I don't know how to tell my sister without crushing her heart 😔

I would just explain to your sister WHY your husband wants it to be just the two of you. Maybe let her watch your other children when you are in labor so she still feels included? And once you driver she can bring them up there. I've never been in your situation so I'm only throwing ideas out there. Surely she will understand- she may be hurt for a moment but once she meets that baby, she will forget :)

@ldsully, thank to hopefully I go in labor at 2am lol she will be sleep and miss it and I wouldn't have to tell her
