After talking it through with my husband we've decided the military just isn't an option... So I've called and the only place I could find that's low income with a short waiting list is in Ashland city... Now it's just a matter of getting in and getting our applications taken care of.

@jnicky, I don't want this to come off the wrong way and something go wrong but I don't really have the mental stability for lack of better words to deal with him being gone for that long. :/

that doesn't come off wrong at all. I was with my ex-husband for 4 years while he was in and he's still active duty to this day. it's stressful as heck

my husband and I both serve, so we're constantly away from each other. he missed the whole first half of my pregnancy because we were stationed away from each other. it made our relationship so much stronger and it's made us cherish our family time even more.

@ginnalynn, I wish we could manage. I know it would make our lives a hell of a lot easier... But we just can't. I can barely deal with him being gone at work during the day :/
