my dear friend and coworker shared this with me "a daughter is a daughter for life, a son is a son…

I don't get it lol so is he not your son just because he gets married?

@mrsmoore, the way that i understand it.. is that.. a daughter will always be there in the same manner even when shes older and has her own family.. a son will change because he will now have a family of his own to put first.. so he will still be your son.. just that his wife will be more of a priority..

I think it's the same daughter or son should put their own spouse before their mother.. once you have your own family that's your priority.. that's my opinion

but you can also see it as a mom and daughter will still bond like take her out to eat whenever..go shopping stuff like that when a son only take his mom out on mothers day or birthday lol but us wife's comes first tho.. I see your point
