My baby gets her first set of shots in less than 8 hours. I'm so not ready for her being in pain and fussy. Already bought baby Tylenol and had a pharmacist calculate her dose for her weight but my husband won't let me give her Tylenol before her shots. Said he will only allow me to give her Tylenol if she's in pain or fussy. This mama isn't going to be able to sleep anytime soon.

Both of my son's have always slept after shots. If you're breastfeeding offer the boob right after the shots. When you get home keep an eye on baby for a bit and then nap (if you can). I can't remember too much about my first son after shots but my preemie hasn't needed baby Tylenol after shots at all. You can have the medication ready but don't give it to her unless she needs it.
