Hi . during pregnancy sleeping on your back and tummy is not recommended but sleeping on sides (left and/ or right) . one cannot sleep in the same posture all the night ..so don't worry ..u can change sides as many times you feel like
hey ...you don't need to sit and then change position . you can just shift yourself to other side while lying on bed itself , just do it the way you feel comfortable.
Always try to sleep on your sides (left/right) but it's OK if you find yourself lying on your back in the middle of the night. I would suggest you to keep a pillow behind your back while lying on your side so that when you try to lie on ur back it won't let you do so . These days I am using the same trick but then too sometimes I find myself lying on my back only ;)
