I don't ever start drama on here but really confuse as to how people think it's okay to drink…

I agree. I'm an occasional drinker but while pregnant I will not drink.

I feel the same, and the same for women who smoke. Idc I gave up all my prescription medications that I need when I found out I was pregnant and I have suffered being very ill because of it. I have been allowed back on one but I still suffer a lot. So I think if us women with health problems can give up their medications it should be easy to stop smoking and drinking for the sake of your unborn!

Agree, the day I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant I quit smoking and drinking.

Or how about the ones who smoke cigarettes and weed still 😣 we all know cigarettes are bad period... And there's been absolutely zero studies done on pregnant women who smoke weed.. Why chance it? Even if the odds are low of anything happening?? When we conceived it was no longer about us anymore. ☹️ sad to know so many moms will make excuses for their actions. When they are wrong and unfair

Technically, there hasn't been enough research to rule out that a glass of wine during pregnancy is completely safe for the baby so it very well could harm the baby is some way. I'm in the medical field and would never even risk drinking an ounce of alcohol, despite what some doctors say.
