Just got in bed to try and get a decent nights sleep but little miss won't let me get comfy :(…

I've got consultant appointment today at 34 weeks and I'm having a growth scan aswell. my last app they just dipped my wee and did my BP checked I was generally ok. @briony1994 xx

I'll be fuming if it's just to check general things because I'm having to travel and pay a stupid amount for parking, this is why I wish they would tell you because my midwife could do that who's only up the road :/ @mich77 xx

Yeah I'm with you there @briony1994. we travel half an hour, once we've managed to find a spot it costs a fortune. They've never felt my tummy N stuff like the midwife does and it's always a general check over. it's cos I've a hole in my heart so I'm thankful il be delivering on the consultant ward though. 😊 xxx

Yeah it's only teeny and my bmi was high too. little man had a heart scan and hes fine. the consultant said hes got a hole (in the same place as mine - which i could see flapping) but every baby has that and its meant to seal up after delivery- which im guessing mine didnt do properly. Are you delivering on a consultant ward @briony1994 ? I've no idea whether all hospitals are set up the same. good luck and try not to pop with frustration 😉

Aww bless! I bet little one will be perfect when he's here haha :) tbh I don't know what I'm doing, no one has spoke to me about what I want at birth and how i want to give birth, where or anything, I feel really out the loop!! :/ @mich77 xxx

oooh that's not good @briony1994. Ask them loads of questions when you go. If you're following the same pathway as me this should be my last hospital app then I see the community midwife every other week I think. She's not done my birth plan or anything yet though so don't worry too much 😊 xxx let me know how you get on today xxx

I've had a scan, blood pressure and weight done and now waiting for consultant, cannot wait to get home and get back in bed, I am shattered!! @mich77 xx

It was all fine, saw the consultant and she basically said everything was fine and she will see me a week before my due date just to do another scan to make sure she's not measuring too big, my LO is 5lb 3oz at the moment haha @mich77 xx
