I'm debating on how to tell my family what I want to happen on the day my son arrives, I understand their excitement, I mean I'm already getting the texts and comments on how they want me to call them the moment I go into labor. But, after discussing this with my husband this is what we want.
After our 4th child is born, we want one person to bring our other 3 kids up, & drop them off for a couple hours, so we can properly introduce our 3 kids to their newest sibling, & have family time! We want NO interruptions from family, I will at this time, tell the nurse to allow no visitors in my room at this particular time, just Incase a family member wants to play dumb, & ruin our time. I can almost guarantee when I announce this some one is gonna get their panties in a bunch. That I don't wanna deal with! Anyways! The few I've told, agree and understand! I really don't think this is something that I need to call and speak individually to them about. I thought about a test, but then I don't want them to think it's personal. I'm thinking a Facebook post, cause I also will have to make friends aware of this, that way they see everyone is getting the same treatment. Should i tell them sooner than later? Wait till I'm closer or spill the beans now?

I'd say tell them now, you're not asking for much and you have a great point and deserve your family time. They need to understand thT

I'm letting my family and friends know my plans about birth/labor at my baby shower this Saturday. I'm only having my hubby and my mom in the room while I'm pushing, but people are welcome to visit while I'm contracting before the pushing. once the baby is born, my mom is leaving and my husband and I are spending an hour or two doing skin-to-skin with no family interruptions. after our time alone with our son, people will be allowed to visit

Okay, thanks ladies! I mean I don't see the hurt in it, as I will allow them all to see him once the kiddos are bored and wanna go back with their grandparents. Lol then I'll tell the nurse to let them all in. I'll tell them soon! :) @hermommy @shortizzie @ginnalynn @erica95
