Yes it's for sleep but the amount you take doesn't make you sleepy. Only if you take one tablet and not two. Plus your suppose to take them at night first for 3days then if it is still bad then you take one durning the day also.

Personally, I did the same thing, and it worked for a week or two.. But then didn't... I was prescribed promethazine and it worked wonders.

Diclegis made me sleepy and that's an anti nausea medication

And I didn't get sleepy with the promethazine

Also, see if they'll prescribe you vitafol nano prenatals. They're the size of a aspirin, and helped me when I was going through my morning sickness. I am sensitive to iron... And most prenatals have over 20mg of iron. These have 18mg... I tried taking ones that had 22mg and got sick that same night. (After my morning sickness went away...) so you could be sensitive to it also.. I just take a dha pill with them.

Get the doxylamine succinate formula for unisom. Start out with it just at nigh and go to half a tab during the day if needed. Taking it at night helps with nausea in the am. B6 is 3x a day as needed. They were a lifesaver for me.

Plus once the pregnancy insomnia kicks in it helps with that too

don't take the Zofran but fill the prescription for it, I had the same problem and my Dr said just get the prescription filled don't take them wait a week then contact the insurance and let them know you tried Zofran and it didn't help, then they will have to cover it, I was prescribed diclegis and it's not on my insurance prescribed medications list so they didn't want to cover it but once I told them Zofran didn't help they filled my prescription for my diclegis

@babymaciesmomma actually not sure on the due date yet because I can't remember exactly when my period was in April. so I gotta wait for the ultrasound in 2 wks to see. but they are thinking I'm around 6wks right now. but yes lol they will be barely 2 years apart

@mrshamilton830 omg I hope it doesn't last that long! my last one it only lasted till about 13 wks but didn't get my full appetite back until around 20wks

Crazy. I know you're in MN, there are some pregnancy centers I go to for earning free baby stuff and they'll do an ultrasound to see how far along you are too, for free.
