Non stress tests for me took about an hour. I had them 2x a week for the last month of my first pregnancy due to low amniotic fluid and a small baby. I had ultrasounds and was placed in the fetal monitor for about half an hour, sometimes a little bit longer.

About an hour if baby wakes up and cooperates. Eat and drink something right before you go so your chances of getting done quicker are higher!

My doc told me the NST would take 20ish minutes. I have to have them from 35 weeks until the end!

Probably! I've been having high blood pressure my whole pregnancy and had protein in my urine from the 24hr urine collection. They switched me from midwife care to doctor care a few weeks ago just to be safe. I have a growth ultrasound at 34 weeks and NSTs and heart tests for baby every week after that just to be sure she's growing! @averysmom8_3_16
