Nope. Gave it to my preemie with no issues. He was 6 months actual, but based off due date he would have been 4 1/2 or so months old and it didn't cause any discomfort. We stick to the regular oatmeal cereal now though since I can't find the banana stuff here where I live and he eats it like a champ. Oatmeal cereal is better than rice cereal.
okay awesome! my little guy is a preemie too! He's almost 5 months old but he has to have cereal to help with spitting up and I'm trying him on oatmeal instead of rice. I actually found the banana one at Walmart or you could even order it online
Are you spoon feeding him or putting it in his bottles? My itty bitty didn't really have that bad of reflux issues but I have definitely seen an improvement in spit up (or lack there of) since starting the oatmeal cereal.
@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom, he gets this with formula in his bottles.. He has tommee tippee cereal bottles and he gets spoon fed fruits and veggies at lunch time

I did! Umm bananas made her a bit constipated but once she was a bit older she did great with it. Loves it
